We not only know how to make a wedding reception be an exciting blast that is unique and memorable, we also understand how to smoothly manage and coordinate ALL the many facets of a wedding reception:

> The presenting of the bride and groom
> The wedding toasts
> The cutting of the cake
> The garter and bouquet tosses, etc.

'Should I just hire a variety band?'

We've heard this before. Some clients wonder if they should hire a regular wedding band that covers everything from Sinatra to Nirvana to Johnny Cash. They worry how their guests will respond to a band playing only '80s music. Don't worry. People of all ages absolutely LOVE the show that we do. The music is amazingly varied, it's nostalgic, and it's a total blast from beginning to end.

Your wedding reception has three phases

Like the three acts in a play, receptions often have three distinct phases, and we know how to accommodate the energy of each one:

The beginning: There are arrivals and perhaps a receiving line, requiring more subtle and reserved music. We can play anything you like from a CD or our computer. We also have some low-key '80s song; check the set list.

The middle: There is a meal, requiring background music (people want to talk); there are toasts, usually with no music.

The big finish: Sometimes a lively and spirited dance-a-thon, and this is where we really make the evening memorable. Your guests go home smiling (and singing).

Got a special request?

We also know how to adjust our songs, and our breaks, on-the-fly to accommodate these varying tempos and moods of the evening. Want us to cool it? Just say so. Want us to crank it up? We can do that. Want us to stay late to keep the party going? It's YOUR CALL. On breaks, we even can serve as DJ, playing any style of recorded music, including any special requests.
