Francis McGrath: keyboards

In 1982, Francis took his first piano lesson. He was 12 at the time and already played guitar and trombone. But piano quickly became his main instrument and at his first piano recital, he performed Styx's "Mr. Roboto."
For the last 17 years, he's been playing music all over Austin in all kinds of styles. He's played the big clubs like Saxon Pub, Threadgill's and Momo's. He's played neighborhood bars, restaurants, book stores, museums, landfills, fire drills and even a nun's Mardi Gras party! He's played rock, funk, folk, jazz and a little country.
Currently he's the bass player for The Greatest American Heroes, Austin's favorite TV theme-song band. He also has his own solo CD called, "No Less Days," which he continues to promote across town. Lastly, he is a two-time world champion from the O Henry Punoff. Learn more about him at www.francismcgrath.com.
